Behind the Mask

Computer generated image. Coloring in Black and White using Photoshop CS 4 hours. Manipulating lighting and shadows. Here the angel is dressed in a combination of his partially three different attire; the robes, the priestly robes and the armor. Dominant is the mask of the skull he is holding in his right hand covering majorly of his face. Here he is also with his name-enscripted double bladed scythe, now reduced to the traditonal one-sided scythe that he Grimreaper use. This work stressed on that Azrael is also the Grimreaper, a skeletal figure in dark black robes that represents death.
